Spotters enter fuel prices that are in their neighborhood (or anywhere else) to update the site. You can help yourself, friends and family enjoy the benefits of saving money. It's free to join, takes just a moment and admits you to the ranks of thousands of others just like you who know how to find the best price on fuel.

In the sign-up process, we ask you to create a login name.
Pick any name that you like, just make sure that it's easy for you to remember.
You will also be asked for a valid email address to insure that the data entered is from a real individual. An email message with your new password will be sent to the address you register under.
We also require a valid zip code.
Your data will never be used or distributed for any purposes outside of GasPriceWatch.com.

Spotters are rewarded by point accumulation. Just for signing up to be a spotter, you will earn 100 points. Every time you update a fuel price or add a new station you will earn points. Points are used to track our Top Spotters.
In the past, we have rewarded our Top Spotters with products from our sponsors. Currently the system is just for bragging rights, however, we are looking to develop another program with a corporate sponsor in the near future.

Shortly after registering as a spotter, you will receive an automated email from the GPW system confirming your status as a price spotter. This email will be sent to the email address you use to register. It will contain your spotter name and password. Keep it in a safe place.
